An excellent opportunity has arisen for dynamic and appropriately experienced candidates to join the Shire of Broome in the role of Facility Assistant - BRAC (Broome Recreation Aquatic Centre).
The Facility Assistant - BRAC will ensure the highest quality of customer service is achieved through providing clear information and advice on BRAC’s activities, programs, fees and services. This includes but is not limited to kiosk and reception duties, school holiday program and crèche supervision, and if appropriately qualified, lifeguarding duties.
The successful candidate will have a current First Aid qualification and Working with Children Check and be able to work varied shifts including early mornings, evenings and weekends. Highly developed communication skills are essential, both written and verbal. Previous experience working in the aquatic industry, including pool supervision and/or Austswim programs would also be highly regarded but not essential.
