Job Description

About the Position:

This position is responsible for administrating relevant statutory legislation, the Shire's Local Laws, and Policies, applicable to the role, as directed by the Coordinator Community Safety and Ranger and by Council. Further, you will be required to provide a high level of efficient customer service to the community and public, through education and enforcement, in matters relating to fire compliance, animal control, of road vehicles, litter, and parking.

This is a permanent full-time position with weekend work required.

About You:

Our ideal candidate must have:

  • Demonstrated high level of customer service and conflict resolution skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work proactively as part of a team
  • Commitment to work health and safety ideals
  • Regulatory officer compliance skills (ROCS 1 & 2) or equivalent.
  • Must have C class drivers' licence with no restrictions as a minimum.
  • 4wd training highly desirable.
  • Current senior first aid highly desirable.
